When am I allowed to start getting my driver’s license?
You may begin instruction up to 3 months before your 17th birthday.
You can take the theory test 1 month before turning 17, and the practical test on your 17th birthday.
How long does it take to get a driver’s license?
It varies, but most people obtain their license within 3–4 months.
If you want to go faster, we offer intensive courses that take 3–4 weeks.
What is a free introduction?
This is your opportunity to get to know us—completely without obligation.
You join the first theory lesson, meet the instructors, and receive a detailed explanation of the entire process—no payment or commitment required.
How do I get started?
Sign up for a free introduction. Then you can decide if you want to continue—it’s entirely up to you.
Can I take lessons in other languages?
Yes! We offer theory and support in Danish, English, Arabic, Persian, and Ukrainian.
Theory and driving tests can be taken in Danish or English.
Can I take theory lessons from home on a computer?
No. According to Danish law, instruction must take place physically in the classroom to ensure quality, understanding, and safety.
How can your prices be lower?
We operate outside of the most expensive areas and have efficient administration—which means fewer costs. We give you the greatest value for your money.
Can we get a special class if we're a group of friends?
Yes! Contact us—we are happy to organize special classes upon request.
Can I take theory lessons on weekends?
Yes, if there are at least 12 participants, we will gladly arrange weekend classes.
How do I read the theory schedule?
The theory course is numbered from 1 to 16. For example, Lesson 3 is “maneuvering course,” which must be completed before Theory Lesson 4. We provide you with a clear lesson plan.
Can I complete all theory first and then start driving lessons?
No. Theory and practical lessons go hand in hand. What you learn in theory is practiced immediately in the car.
How many theory lessons must I attend?
At least 8. We offer unlimited theory instruction for 12 months, so you can repeat lessons as much as needed—at no extra charge.
What is a "Law Package"?

What is a mandatory package?
The law package includes everything legally required:
- Unlimited theory instruction
- 4 maneuvering course lessons
- 5 skid-course lessons (“glatbane”)
- 16 on-road driving lessons (45 minutes each)
What is the maneuvering course?
It is your first practical driving exercise in a car. Here, you learn the car’s basic functions in a safe environment. The session lasts about 3 hours.
How do I get a driving instructor?
You’re automatically assigned an instructor who matches your availability. If you have specific preferences, we always try to accommodate them.
How does the theory test work?
You’ll see 25 images, each with 2–4 answer options.
You may have up to 5 mistakes to pass.
The test is offered both digitally (on a computer) and on paper.
Can I change driving instructors?
Yes, at any time. We want you to feel safe and comfortable.
Is there a waiting period for the theory test?
Typically 2–4 weeks, but this varies by location and season.
How much does the theory test cost?
Total: DKK 1,750 (DKK 1,450 to the Danish Road Safety Agency + DKK 300 administration fee).
What do I need to bring to the theory test?
- Application form (available from us)
- Copy of your health insurance card
- Passport or residence permit
- Medical certificate with passport photo
- First-aid certificate
Submit the documents to your instructor, or deliver them yourself to Citizen Service (Borgerservice).
What if my medical certificate needs approval from the medical officer?
Then it may take longer. The medical officer assesses special health conditions—for example, if your license will only be valid for 2 years at a time.
When do I go to the skid-course (“glatbane”)?
After passing your theory test. We book it for you—usually about 1 week before your practical test.
Who books the practical driving test?
Your instructor does—once you both agree you’re ready.
Which car do I use for the practical test?
You’ll drive the same school car you used during training—so you feel comfortable and familiar.
How is the practical test conducted?
It lasts 30–45 minutes and includes:
- Questions about the car’s technical aspects
- Driving in urban and rural settings
- Assessment of your safety and driving style
How long can I pause the course?
Maximum pause: 3 months. For longer interruptions, you must restart the course from the beginning.
Will I get a refund if I stop?
Yes. You will be refunded for any unused portion.
The law package remains valid for 12 months.
How long is my driver’s license valid?
Your license is valid for 15 years before it needs to be renewed.
